Casino Themed Reception at The Art Room in the Pittsburgh Strip District

Part 2 of a Two-Day Pittsburgh Wedding Weekend

I am seeing a huge trend towards creating a guest experience at a reception. Day number two of Dani and Matt’s wedding was just that. They wanted their family and friends to be able to come and enjoy a night of fun and food while they mingled with them. There were very few traditional wedding formalities. Just a few speeches given by close friends to make the night personal.

Guests first enjoyed their reception experience with some stellar food from The PA Market and a custom bar menu while Dani and Matt mingled around The Art Room’s open spaces.

While the evening had a very free flowing vibe, the one was special event that they planned. A few toasts were given by two close friends. The laughter, jokes, sentiment, and genuine love for the two of them was felt around the room and brought another personal element to the evening. Then the casino games began.

While a DJ is the most traditional route for a reception, there are so many more ways to personalize your reception. No one knows your family and friends better than you do.
