We remember the excitement of starting our photography careers. It’s an easy job to become passionate about, but there are also a lot of questions at the beginning. Tiffany has photographed and planned dozens of amazing weddings and loves to connect with other photographers who may be looking for mentorship opportunities and events to help them level up their skills and businesses.

MENTORSHIP FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Tiffany offers one-on-one mentorship sessions with wedding photographers of all experience levels - helping you to learn from her mistakes and grow from her advice. Taking the knowledge she’s gained over almost two decades in the wedding business, she will provide career guidance, answer questions, and be a resource for you as you launch or take your business to the next level. Tiffany will find out what your needs and questions are and build a curriculum around them. Single or multiple sessions are available to fit your needs.

Ready to feel confident photographing a wedding? Want to grow your portfolio? Feel like you are missing something on a wedding day and you need more education? Would you like to know more about wedding planning to better help you execute wedding days and help clients?

The Wedding Workshop is held annually during the spring. It is a 3 day mastermind workshop intensive complete with a full faux wedding to add to your portfolio.

Psst – photographers of all experience levels! Are you looking to grow your portfolio, network, gain knowledge, or ask questions about wedding photography without the pressure of shooting a live event? I’m teaming up with Dara of Bespoke and Beloved Events to offer a photography workshop focused on capturing the little details that make a couple’s big day so special.

If you are just starting out in photography, here are a 3 things to help you.

1. Get a starter camera and a versatile lens. These two would be my go-to if I was starting out from the bottom.
     - Canon R6: https://amzn.to/42FYZ6M
(It's mirrorless, and while I don't love it, it's the way of the future. It's also full frame and has dual card slots for weddings.)
      - Canon 28-70 2.8: https://amzn.to/43HVrSx
(It's a constant 2.8 so you won't have to worry about your exposure changing as you zoom in and out. PLUS Canon has now added image stabilization to the lens, making is so much better for low light situations.)

2. Don't do things for free just to get images for advertising. Your time is valuable. Offer a cost that is worth the time you will be investing in the session.

3. Follow my blog post about how to start a photography business in 8 simple steps. It's a beginner’s guide to becoming a business.
