There is a quiet frustration many professionals carry when it comes to being photographed. Not because they don’t value great photography, but because so often, head shots feel disconnected from who they actually are. Too stiff. Two generic. Too far removed from the experience they provide.
As a Latrobe headshot photographer, my work begins there. My goal is to bridge the gap between how you look and how you are truly experienced by your clients. Molly’s commercial portrait session was a perfect reflection of that.

Molly is both an attorney and the voice behind The Billing Coach. A brand built on clarity, strategy, and trust. Like so many professionals, the challenge wasn’t her credibility, it was ensuring her imagery carried the same weight as her work.
When your photos feel outdated, overly posed, or just make you look unapproachable… that is how your potential clients will see you. There begins a subtle disconnect between you and your clients before you even have a chance to talk with them.

Creating space for authentic presence
Rather than forcing a version of “professional,” we created space for something more. We began with refined, minimal head shots, clean, backdrops, intentional styling, and just enough direction to allow her natural confidence to come forward.
Just a presence that felt grounded, capable, and approachable in a way that invites trust.

Creating intention and planning a commercial studio portrait session
A lot of my headshot and branding sessions, walk through the door, saying that they “just need a few good photos.” but what they really need is images that feel like an extension of their brand and confidence in front of the camera to be themselves.
As a headshot and branding portrait photographer, my approach is intentionally tailored to each session. Whether that’s a simple editorial style heads or a fully developed branding session with layered details.
Molly‘s commercial portrait session is a reminder that your branding imagery does matter. Your photos need to reflect the personality behind your work, your professionalism, and your offerings.
