Around the House- We are starting on the basement renovation!! YAY!! While I don’t have any photo of this yet, I will post some soon, we will have some at some point as we go. First up in getting my office down there finished so we can get some things into storage.
Baby Caroline- Last week this little bug turned 11 months old. Mommy spent a day moping about the house because next month she is one. I am soooo not ready for that yet let alone do I have her party prep really even started. Oops!
On Friday we took a trip to the fabric store with sleep in both of our eyes so mommy and Caroline brought a drink. Don’t worry the coffee was only in hers. 😉 Years ago I found a sippy cup that had an altered Starbucks logo on it. I haven’t seen one since but I would love to find one for her. I think it would be so funny.
Saturday we went out on our first breakfast with Grandpa to Eat N Park there Caroline are the entire breakfast buffet I swear. This girl can eat!
Did you see that Caroline is offering 25% off mommy’s photography Portrait Sessions till the end of her birthday month? Check it out in her personal newborn photo session blog post HERE.
Upcoming & Exciting- Oh my goodness I had an amazing info packed mentor session on Saturday!! I am teaching the sweetest rising photographer how to photograph weddings! From all the pre wedding prep to the wedding day and tricks of the trade. This girl is getting it all!
Someone asked me, “Well aren’t you training up your competition by doing that?” the other day when I was telling them about teaching Kaitllyn. While the answer simply put it “yes.” It’s not quite that simple.
I have spent the last 12 years learning my craft, creating my own version of art and while I may be teaching her how I do it and what to do, no one will ever be Tiffany Jackson. So while some look at this as a terrible idea, I look at this as a way to give back to the industry that has taught me so much and help an aspiring wedding photographer.
As a Tuesdays Together leader here in Greensburg, it’s my job to bring together creative entrepreneur. It’s my job to foster a “community over competition” spirit and I think mentoring others does just that.
Lastly, don’t forget about our engagement session GIVE-A-WAY!!!!! See Joy Filled Occasions blog post for the info and to enter HERE.
