I’ve been dying to share these two on the blog and now the day is here! On a chilly Friday in November, Black Friday to be exact, Jen and John said “I do!” With their siblings as their bridesmaids and groomsmen a small wedding party made the day more personal and family centered. Don’t worry though, by evening, everyone in attendance join in on the fun!
Jen’s wedding details and stunning bouquet played well with the classic and elegant look she had envisioned.
Meet Jen and John’s baby Daisy! This sweet girl stole the show with her cute puppy face. The day would not have been complete without photos of her and mommy.
A few sweet photos of Jen and her mom were a must before she walked her daughter down the isle.
It might have been quite cold out but I was obsessed with the architecture of Saint Bernard’s Catholic Church. These lovely arches made it all worth freezing in the shade for sure. Well, I at least thought so. 😉
Winter wedding with cozy accessories and garden roses… be still my heart!
Though their ceremony venue and reception venue were in two different locations, they selected venues that were a short distance from one another in the Mount Washington area.
The smiles on John’s parent face just before the ceremony started. The look on John’s face as he sees Jen coming up the isle. The sweet moments shared between Jen and her mom as they reach John at the front of the church a few photos down… Those are the moments that you can’t replace. The moments that I treasure as a wedding photographer and love to capture for each of our couples for years to come.
Long veils and long wedding dress trains just make such a stunning and dramatic look on a wedding day! I love it!
Whoop whoop! Three cheers for the new Mr & Mrs Baker!!!!
Their day couldn’t have been more perfect. While the ceremony is one of the most important events on any wedding day, Aaron and I have a soft spot for portraits. After all, family and friends wouldn’t be gathered together if it weren’t for the sweet couple. So for us, portraits are super important.
The sun was setting quickly after Jen and John said “I do” but we snuck out of the church for the last little bit of light their wedding day had to offer. Most of the time we have to start family portraits right after the ceremony due to church regulations and timelines but I am now a HUGE fan of bride and groom portraits right after they come down the isle and husband and wife. These two were BEAMING!!! It was so magical!!!!
A little winter wonderland look dressed up the reception hall as the new Mr & Mrs Baker made their grand entrance.
Long veils for the first dance are a new favorite as well. So it might have gotten wrapped around them a little as they danced but that’s ok. It looked of to pretty!
With the dance floor packed, Jen and John had their DJ Joe play the ring bearer’s favorite song. Gavin lit up the dance floor with his energy and smile!
While the anniversary dance is always a favorite of ours, I can’t help but smile as I see the couples snuggle together for a song.
Jen’s sweet grandparents won the anniversary dance as the longest married couple in attendance.
Alright, enough cute moments already. Let’s get the party started!
Lastly, no Mount Washington are wedding would be complete without a photo of the view!
Jen & John,
Thank you so much for letting Aaron and I be a part of your wedding day. Though I didn’t get to go black Friday shopping with my little sister, I would say spending the day with you two was right up there on the list. 😉 We love you guys!
