Something amazing about being a wedding photographer is being able to see a family again at another sibling’s wedding. Will and Allison were both in Sarah and Eric’s wedding in 2016 and now they have had their own at the Pittsburgh Golf Club. Enjoy re-living their lovely winter wedding day with all of it’s pops of burgundy and creamy neutrals about the club.
It’s hard to find a venue with charm but the Pittsburgh Golf Club has plenty! The column and pillars combined with the lovely ballroom’s open railing on the second floor is stunning! Add all the old woodworking and simple palette, you have the most perfect Pittsburgh wedding venue.
The moments that can get forgotten in the hustle and bustle of the day… the daddy-daughter first look. It’s such a sweet added photo moment to a wedding day. The bond between father and daughter over her big reveal is darling!
A romantic first look was followed by a note exchange.
This section of the golf club was so unique. Will’s stark black uniform added the perfect contrast to the neural look under the porch.
I love this sweet family!
The Farmer’s Daughter knocked it out of the park for their ceremony! From the fireplace mantel blooms to the adorned arch, the pops of burgundy, pink and green were lovely for this January wedding.
These photos make it look much earlier in the day than it was. Winter weddings can be tricky with lighting. Especially very overcast winter days. The sun set extra early and our planned “sweet-light” portrait wasn’t sweetened by the sunset but that didn’t stop the “sweetness” of these two.
A little breeze blew through so we could have some fun with Allison’s veil.
Back inside they had a formal entrance and the best cake cutting!
The wedding wouldn’t have been complete without a Will face cutout. Rumor had it this cut-out traveled all over with these two so he was always included in the fun even when he was deployed.
Will & Allison,
Thank you so much for letting us join in another memorable day with your family. We are honored to be a part of it!
Hugs!
