It’s crazy how much our couples have in common with Aaron and I. When I first met Amanda and Mike I knew they would be the perfect fit for us. Mike and Aaron talked hunting and trucks while Amanda and I chatted about wine and girly things. I’m pretty sure we shut down every restaurant when when we hang out.
They were calling for 100% chance of rain when we all woke up that morning. Amanda planned every little detail down to even some darling signs, but rain was one thing that no one could truly avoid. We arrived at the White Barn with a rain plan in mind and umbrellas in hand. Getting ready photos started in the barn but by the time we needed to head outside for portraits, the rain stopped. Here is a look into their day.
Amanda you look exquisite!
I LOVE this one!
Look at how cute these signs are!
Watching the grooms face as he sees his bride is always a tearjerker.
I’m almost certain he had a tear in his eye here.
This moment is why I LOVE my job!
The rain continued to hold off for the ceremony and some of their portraits.
If you look closely, you can see the raindrops starting, so we ducked under the porch of the White Barn and took a few more photos until the rain stopped again.
What’s crazy is that the radar showed the rain coming down and not stopping. We did not get to take the drive to Mike’s favorite spot but the rain held off. Sometimes it’s the little victories.
The boat was full of water and quite wet. Someday I’ll have the privilege of photographing a couple in a boat. Silly rain!
The rain started up yet again as we took the last photo. So romantic!
I LOVE Aaron’s perspective of the cake cutting and the guest faces. So perfect!
At least they kissed and made up in the end.
They spent their first dance sing to one another. It was just adorable!
Thank you for allowing Aaron and I to be there to capture your wedding day Amanda and Mike! You two rock!
Hugs!

Tiffany and Aaron,
I can’t say enough what a beautiful job you both did for Mike and Amanda. I know my daughter pretty well and I know she is beaming …. Outstanding job…. But being a prejudice mother and mother in law , your subjects were just beautiful…. The expressions on both their faces tell all how much in love they both are …. I couldn’t be happier …. Thank you both again and it was a pleasure meeting you Aaron… I hope you both will maintain your friendship with Mike and Amanda…. Thank you to Maria Cavalier for suggesting I hook you two up.
Ooh Kim you just made my night! Thank you so much!!! Those two are just darling and Aaron and I feel so blessed to have been there for their wedding day and can’t wait to enjoy many more wonderful times with them! Everything came together for them so well! The weather included! It was crazy how it all held off and waited for them. 🙂
