Jess and Lee chose to elope and hold their intimate wedding ceremony at the Westmoreland County Courthouse in Greensburg. The sweet couple brought bright smiles to the courthouse as they prepared for their big day. The architecture in the courthouse provided an extravagant backdrop for the couple’ s nuptials. Their navy blue and white color palette kept the courthouse wedding classic with a seasonal clean summer twist.
The following day, the couple celebrated the start of married life with an “I do BBQ” picnic reception at Twin Lakes State Park in Greensburg with family and friends. The lakeside pavilion was decked in picnic necessities from navy and white plaid table cloths, chalkboard signs, and white pitcher vases full of summer flowers to sweet glass milk bottles and picnic baskets. The delightful couple spent their reception mingling with guests celebrating “A Sweet Ending to a New Beginning” as they sipped on sweet tea and lemonade and munched on homemade cookies, some summer picnic staples. As the sun began to set, the new Mr. and Mrs. ended the day with soft lakeside kisses and giddy hearts full of happy marriage wishes.
I had no idea our Westmoreland County Courthouse was so beautiful inside! I walked into the historic section and my jaw dropped. The detail and architecture is simply stunning!
Before the “I do’s” were said, family gathered and waited with Jess and Lee.
Just a few finishing touches before they met with Judge Scott Mears.
Jess’s darling niece and nephew accompanied them to aid in the ceremony. Each held a ring awaiting their queue to hand the ring to the judge. They were the perfect wedding attendants.
I could photograph a million more weddings at the Westmoreland County Courthouse!
Before these two enjoyed a quaint little dinner together, they stopped by Twin lakes Park for a few outdoor wedding photos.
One extra special thing the requested to have photographed was a little something they brought back from their honeymoon.
Now you can’t get married on National Donut Day without having donuts!!!
Since we didn’t have testing glasses, why not toast to forever with a donut. hehe
The sun set on their wedding day and the following day the perfect “I do BBQ” picnic reception awaited them.
Congratulations Jess & Lee!!
