Imagine the most lovely wedding day. Beautiful sunshine, a light breeze, fluffy clouds in the sky and your best friend awaiting you at the alter. Yep, that’s pretty much how Jordan and Katie’s wedding day went. After a few weddings way far away and out of state, our last wedding till December took us only a few hours away to a ceremony at Westminster College and the White Barn in Prospect.
Katie and Jordan’s wedding style was simple and classic with pops of fall color brought in by their florals. The exterior of their chapel played a lovely roll in their portraits with the old stone and climbing ivy. In late October you never know what the weather might hold but their day was perfect! How about you see for yourself though.
Katie’s dress was purchased at my favorite Pittsburgh bridal salon Glitter & Grit.
Katie you were glowing!!! I just adore the joy written all over your face!!!!
While the old saying, “borrowed and blue, old and new” might not be a part of every one of our bride’s attire these days. Katie had something quite special as part of her something old. Inside the little gold circle attached to her bouquet was a portion of her grandmothers dress. Something so simple but so sweet.
Jordan was totally killing it as a well groomed groom. He rocked the dapper look!
I’m pretty sure this is one of my favorites! There was so much emotion in this little moment I feel like everyone’s hearts could burst!
Umm hello, who else it loving this ivy here?!?!? I could have spent the day taking photos here. The stonework, the color pop in the trees and the deep purple dresses and black tuxes added the perfect dark hues! Smashing choice Katie and Jordan!!
Ready for this one… <3 <3 <3
So it’s just a tree they are under right? Well, this particular tree holds a special place in Katie & Jordan’s hearts. It’s there Westminster College “spot” AND high up in the tree is their initials. It’s hard to see in the photo since it’s placed so high in the tree but I think that’s just so sweet!
Katie & Jordan danced the night away with family and friends at one of my favorite barns, The White Barn in Prospect.
Katie & Jordan,
Thank you so much for including Aaron and I in our wedding day! We hope you two will treasure these moment and memories for years to come. Cheers to many years you two!!
Hugs,
Aaron & Tiffany
