Wedding Vendor Relationship Building… because some people are just brought into our lives for a reason.
You know when you meet someone new and you just know they are someone you could be best friends with? Even if you only “meet” them on social media or you actually meet them in person, when you find those people you have to be friends. That’s kinda what happened with Stacy and I. She was a longtime family friend of the Jackson’s and once we met, I knew she needed to be a part of my tribe, my people, my clan. This girl was awesome!!
Sometimes you find these people on social media. You might not have met them but just by following their posts, you know that you two could be BFF’s. Why not reach out to them and meet? Why not comment on their posts more or encourage them. It’s called social media, why not be social?!?!?
As a wedding vendor, it is so crazy important to connect with other vendors. Not only is it great because you have a support system but you also have a referral system. As a support system, you have someone else in the industry as a sounding board. Someone who knows the ups and downs like you. As a referral system, you have an awesome group of friends that you know will take good care of your clients. Who wouldn’t want that?!?!
I LOVE shooting weddings when my favorite vendors are involved! It’s not just great because I get to see them, but I know the day will go well because we have a relationship and we work as a team. We know like and trust one another. Now don’t get me wrong, I love meeting new wedding vendors too but goodness is it nice to work with a friend.
This is a photo of Stacy and I last week after she stayed with us for a few day. I took her on a mini tour of some of my favorite places. She also stopped in the studio too just to see my little home away from home.
In April, Stacy and I joined forces and created this lovely styled shoot below. Now we are working on some more crazy dreams and wild schemes all because she reached out to me. So reach out to a vendor you follow and say hello. You never know, your new BFF could be a few clicks away. 😉

So fun + what a beautiful shoot! I’ve met so many wonderful people in the industry as well.
I adore my fellow vendor friends. We all get each other on a different level than our friends who aren’t in the industry are able to!
Oh so true girl!!! They get our love for weddings, the hustle of the small biz life and all the crazy office work we all hate. 🙂
