JACKSON SIGNATURE PHOTOGRAPHY: If you didn’t know it already, we travel… A LOT! Like next month we will be in Tennessee for a wedding and in November we will be in New York for a wedding PLUS Florida for vacation. So when one of my couples asked if I would come to Virginia for their engagement session, I couldn’t say no.
Since I was headed that way, I message my dear friend Stacy with Events by Memory Lane to see if she wanted to meet me in our favorite town Culpeper. She was totally up for it and we did a wedding wedding venue and vendor walk-through for her big day in March. Joy Filled Occasions, my second company will be doing all of her wedding flowers.
This girl I am only get to see each other about once every other yea but when we get together we chat alway till our voices almost give out and pick-up right where we left off. You might remember “meeting” Stacy because I stayed with her two falls ago in Raleigh AND she and I pulled off that HUGE styled shoot at Rose Hill in Nashville, North Carolina that was featured in Southern Bride.
This is a little peek at her wedding venue in Culpeper Virginia, The Refinery.
We also stopped at the rental shop she will be using, Bride & Joy. Friends, this place was the cutest little shop! Talk about MAJOR goals for another company that I have brewing in my 20 year plan. Shhhhh
Ok back to these two and the main reason I ran down to Virginia…
Courtney & TY!!!! We all got up bright and early Wednesday morning to take a little drive to Virginia’s AMAZING Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint one bit!
I think it might have been the longest Engagement session to date but it was SOOOO worth it and Courtney and TY were AMAZING about it all. I think I gushed about every spot and the photos are so FABULOUS!!! Stay tuned for those! <3
NEW & EXCITING: HOLIDAY PORTRAIT SESSIONS will be coming out soon!!! I have an indoor fireplace location lines up and I am working on a tree farm outdoor spot too!
THE JACKSONS IN REAL LIFE: I hardly ever have my real camera out for photos of Caroline in the busy seasons. It’s always packed and ready for the next shoot but my iPhone will do an ok job. This is my new favorite photo of our little girl. She just gets sweeter and sweeter with each passing day. Her heart must be made of gold. <3
Give Caroline a room of toys and she will be at the kitchen set, with the babydoll or hugging a friend.
Duke says “hi!”
I successfully got two kids dinner and both down to bed Friday. I would say that was a mom win!
Caroline is the cutest sandwich eater. Her and I hit the Ligonier famers market on Saturday for the last time and got our favorite, The Picked Chef.
Happy Monday to you all!
