I broke the blog two weeks ago and nothing with upload a photos. It was dreadful! Thankful the wonderful people at Blog Stop, AKA Stomp Software, helped me get the blog back in working order. They were also one of the sponsors of my Wedding Day Walk Through Workshop. 🙂
So here is what I missed getting to tell you all about last week…
JACKSON SIGNATURE PHOTOGRAPHY:Â
We FINALLY photographed a “beach” wedding in North Carolina!!! While the wedding wasn’t held “on” the beach, it was on a pretty little deck above the beach area at the most charming little inn. One of my past seniors now friends, married her high school sweetheart and it was magical! See their wedding night preview below.
Hop over to our Facebook page to see the rest!
Aaron and I arrived on Hatteras Island early Saturday morning, like 1:00AM, and after some sleep we were up scouting the island.
As usual though, we found some grand places that never got used day-of. While the locations were all amazing, the sun and humidity was killer come Sunday. The bright sunny beach spots were the first to cross off the list unfortunately.
I think I cried off and on all day. Miranda has become such a dear friend and sister, I was over the moon excited to see her and Nick get married. It won’t have been a wedding day without a selfie and a group photo.
THE JACKSON ADVENTURES: By Monday we were soaking up the last of the beach and sunshine before we hit the road and headed home. I may have snuck in a mimosa with the hot breakfast date. 😉
Aaron paddle boarded while I enjoyed the dock one last time then it was off to finish packing and hit the road home.
MISS CAROLINE:Â
We came home to lot of laundry to do but thankfully I have a “big” helper now. Miss Caroline already has a few chores around the house. He gives her doggy breakfast each morning, unloads the silverware in the dishwasher and helps with the laundry. She loves it and it’s teaching her some great skills already.
Caroline has also begun watering the flowers. She just can’t understand that the flower need to stay on the plant. I might have lost my first harvest of tomatoes a few weeks back to this cute little girl… Someone thought the small green tomatoes looked good enough to pick. Oops!
Friday was full of adventures in the heat. We did a little blueberry picking in the morning and in the afternoon we were off to Sand Hill Berries for a early dinner play-day and flower picking. I think Caroline is on her best behavior when we are out and about. She loves seeing new things and being with others.
Happy Monday friends!
Tiffany
