New & Exciting:
I went to Tennessee!!! Yep, you heard me correctly, I get a text early Thursday morning and by Thursday afternoon I was on the road Tennessee bound.
Why you ask? Because this sweet couple below! 🙂 Nick asked me to photograph him proposing to Miranda and I couldn’t miss it! I packed up my gear and hit the road for Knoxville Tennessee!
I arrived at 1:30AM on Friday and with a few hours of sleep was in Downtown Knoxville hiding just beyond this cute little garden area for Nick and Miranda to arrive.
Miranda said yes if you couldn’t guess. 😉
On my way home, I stopped in at the lovely Bedford Springs Hotel for a little venue walk-through with Megan and Michael. Their wedding day isn’t till December of 2020 but since they booked my second company, Joy Filled Occasions, for styling and design I wanted to get a jump on making sure the decor and vendors were on track for their day.
This gorgeous hotel has been a location I have dreamed of photographing since I was in my early teens. I had been watching the old hotel fall apart more and more each year until the Omni took it over. Now it’s a stunning and thriving hotel and wedding venue in Bedford and I am thrilled to be photographing a wedding there in 2020! Not to mention I have the most wonderful couple ever to work with. 🙂
Little Miss Caroline:
Play dates, park days and chalk. Caroline enjoyed a wonderful play-date with her friend Jimmy last week. The two of them were so cute together despite their age gap of almost 2 years. Jimmy carefully helped her on the slide and pushed her around in his truck. I think Jen and I cried happy momma tears a little.
Carline got some chalk in her Easter basket last week and while she isn’t to sure about it, she tired sampling it. Ick! Mommy came to the chalks rescue though.
Daddy has taught out mini how to say bird and while it’s not fully coming out as bird, it’s pretty close.
Have a great Monday night all!
