Baby Caroline- This past week was a week of first for our little one year old. Mommy bought her a market and coloring set. Thank the Lord for Crayola cold wonder markers! Caroline had a mess free first coloring session. Whoop whoop!
Among her other firsts was her first trip to the park to run about and play. She even rode in the swing all by herself. She had her first bowl of soup with a spoon and while it didn’t go as well with the spoon she made sure there wasn’t a bit of it left in the bowl. Lastly, little miss Caroline took her first trip to the car shop for mommy’s cars inspection. I literally held my breathe the entire time we were there but she did great! Everyone had to say hello to her and our little Chick-fil-a stop on our way in kept her busy for a while as she munched on her kids meal.
I can’t forget to mention the shoe issue…. Daddy insisted she didn’t need them till she was walking. The only problem with his plan now is that she doesn’t like shoes on her feet now that she is walking.
While I do agree with her that shoes are dreadful, she can’t walk about the park barefoot. Now mommy has to teach her that shoes are ok and she can still walk in them.
Imagine a baby doing what dogs do with you put shoes on them and you have Caroline with shoes on. It’s pretty funny to say the least but our quick trip to Walmart to snag some shoes for the park the other day didn’t go as mommy planned…
Until next week!
