Baby Caroline- Our little girl is one now! I’m pretty sure I spent all week thinking back to the week, days and hours leading up to her birth and sobbing. It was such an emotional and exciting time.
I’m usually not one for cheesy outfits and sparkles BUT I made an exception for her birthday outfit and snagged a few little first birthday photos. Despite still having my studio in Downtown Greensburg, we snagged a few in our house instead and saved ourselves the trip.
Her little birthday day consisted of Mom 2 Mom at church then a family lunch at her favorite place, Chick-fil-a. She ended her big first birthday with a birthday gift and dinner. While I’m sure she won’t remember any of this years from now, I wanted her to still have fun and do the things she enjoys doing.
While her birthday present, the farm, was new to her it is a “vintage” 1999 Fisher Price barn. They just don’t make the new ones as well as the old ones so mommy searched for months to find her this one. I would say it was a hit! She hit the jackpot too with 3 sheep in her farm set. This little girl LOVES sheep!
Around the House: Party prep began early in the week and her flowers arrived Thursday to be prepped. I will be sharing all the party decor on Joy Filled Occasion’s page on Friday so stay tuned. Wednesday will be Caroline’s birthday party photo day here on the blog.
While we totally forgot to get a family photo in front the backdrop I made we managed to get this super dark and fuzzy one with my phone. Yes, the photographer forgot to get photos of herself…. What else is new. 😛
