January 30, 2019
One daddy with four daughters.
Two of the funniest best men.
Three rings to wear.
Four was the time of their ceremony.
Aaron and I arrived at Alex’s childhood home to find it decorated with the sweetest little wedding details by Alex’s mom.
In a flutter of purple, her bridesmaids helped her get into her dress and account for every ruffle and flounce.
Every curl had ben tucked and pinned up till Alex was ready then her mom let them cascade down.
Sisters, friends and cousins made up this lovely group of bridesmaids in their rich purple dresses.
Steve gave Alex this little gift during a moments before the ceremony but I got to photograph them before hand for her.
The joyful grins on their faces says it all. This is one of my favorite moments of their day. A little hand hold and quick prayer was the perfect beginning to their ceremony time.
I always love seeing the groom’s face as his brides comes down the isle but…
I think this view is quite special too. These two won the “oldest couple married” dance at Steve and Alex’s reception and by her hand on his shoulder here, I can see why.
After a few quick family photos we were off to the reception at Valleybrook Country Club.
There wasn’t a detail missing into the clubhouse. From signs and photos to vibrant greenery and rose petals, Valleybrook’s ballroom looked lovely!
I’m not sure about your wedding party but theirs was pretty cool.
This was the best man speech of all best man speeches complete with a synchronized video rap/speech.
While Steve and Michael’s best mans speech was pretty great at Aaron’s wedding. Aaron and Michael outdid themselves for Steve’s wedding. It makes me wonder what will happen at Michael’s wedding. These guys just keep outdoing themselves.
The sun was just about to set after their toasts and speeches so we snuck out to the green for a few photos before it left us. The time before the reception, as usual, was a bit busy so this gave Steve and Alex some time to unwind and take in all the exciting moments of the day. I think theses are also some of my favioret photos of them.
While the focus is on Alex and her dad, I can’t help but enjoy the looks and tears on her mom, sisters and husband’s faces.
While July 14th holds a special place in Steve and Alex’s heart, it also hold one in Alex’s parents. You see, this wasn’t just their wedding day but Alex’s parents too.
Congratulations Steve and Alex!
Aaron and I were so glad we could be there for your wedding day and capture another Wolf Pack wedding! Cheers to many wonderful years you two!
Hugs!
