Family, careful planning and a proposal. I had not met Stephen before he stopped in the studio to share his proposal plans, but after our quick meeting, it was quite apparent how much Betsy meant to him. Their proposal was a charming labor of love.
Nestled right in the middle of Greensburg in it’s own little hidden place is Stephen’s family’s property. It was complete with a small pond and the most perfect dock for a proposal. Naturally this family gem became the perfect location for Stephen to get down on one knee and ask Betsy to marry him.
The wind might not have been helping with the candles staying lit but the carpet for Betsy to walk out on so her heals didn’t catch and little rose petals worked perfectly.
Betsy pulled in and with family gathered and Stephen at the end of the dock, she know what was about to happen. Though I hadn’t even met her yet, I was a teary mess too. It was such a special time to be a part of.
The two joined their family on the “shore” for hugs and come celebratory champagne.
You can’t have a proposal without a few cute portraits too. I am terrified of docks and water but somehow I always seam to find myself out on them. I guess someday I will have to overcome my fear.
Aren’t these two so sweet?!?!?!?
Cheers you two!!! We can’t wait to celebrate with you both in a few months on Rochester, New York!
