One of my goals is to photograph a wedding in a harbor town complete with a lighthouse. Shannon and Will’s wedding day brought that dream to life. Their fall infused Scituate Massachusetts wedding was complete with photos at the lighthouse and a harbor view!
Now for being fall in New England things were unseasonably warm but it was lovely! To my delight, and I’m sure all the bridesmaids and the bride, the wind was rather calm that day too. Everything was just perfect!
Shannon and Will both got ready at The Inn at Scituate Harbor. This darling little inn had a lovely view of the harbor and the sweetest lady at the front desk. She even let allowed us to take the detail photos in the lobby area where the lighting was lovely.
Shoes are a group effort. It takes the support of all your friends. 🙂
Shannon and Will’s first look was held at the Scituate Lighthouse just a few minutes away from the Inn.
The moment Will turned to see Shannon, he began to cry. I think one of the most wonderful things to whiteness as a photographer is the emotion that takes place on a wedding day. It’s beautiful!
These guys all snuck around the lighthouse to see all the apply tears too!
Eeeek the joy on Shannon and Will’s faces is wonderful!!!
I love how Shannon added the gray rhinestone belt to break up her dress! It was absolutely lovely! Her mom actually created it for her. How sweet is that?
So it’s hard to tell in the photos, but the Scituate lighthouse property is not very large and the lighthouse is actually home to a local teacher. So with a medium sized bridal party and a lovely tourist stop as our backdrop, their bridal party rolled with it! Three cheers for them being awesome!!
Hello, my fav right here!!!
These two sisters are awesome together! Their support and love for one another is apparent. They kinda remind me of my little sister and I. They even take cute photos together! 🙂
Swoon worthy stuff here Shannon and Will!!
After some pretty photos at the lighthouse it was time for these two to head to The River Club in Scituate to say “I do” and party the night away!
Shannon’s sister, Erin, the maid of honor is this cutie’s mommy. What a dolly right?!?!? A few flowers fell to the ground for the ceremony but more reach it as she was sitting in her seat.
They are married!!!!!!
I just can’t handle her cuteness!!!!
OMG <3 <3
As we travel for weddings and learn how other states, families and even cultures go about a wedding day, it’s neat to whiteness and take home. So something Shannon and Will had was two jars at the bar. One for each of them and family and friends were to fill the jar of choice with coins. The jar with the most money was the person who had the cake smashed in their face. As you can see Will clearly knows what’s coming his way.
Shannon and Will,
Thank you guys for allowing Aaron and I to spend the day with you! Though your engagement session in August got rained out, you two killed your wedding portraits and looked oh so fabulous!!! We are so excited for this new life that you two are starting together! Cheers to many many happy years!!
Hugs,
Aaron and Tiffany
