Remembering Your Wedding Day | The Value of Wedding Photos

Dear Brides,
I hope your wedding day gives you those warm fuzzy feelings. I hope you look back and flip through the pages of your wedding album and remember all the good times. I hope you reminisce on the joy and laughter found in those captured moments. I hope the photo moments help you recall each and every second of the day. I hope you cherish these memories. I hope you share them with your children and then grandchildren. I hope your album and wall portraits leave a legacy of your love together. Let them sever as a reminder to the love you two shared on that day and continue to share. The daily choice to choose the other through the highs and lows of marriage.

Aaron and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on the 20th of October. I feel like we were just married the other day but the calendar says otherwise. Each year I re-live tour wedding day in my head and in photo form. Each time is reminds me the value of wedding photos. It keeps the memories alive in my head and I hope you can enjoy your day time and time again. I hope remembering your wedding day is a yearly tradition.

Like this one here of Aaron as I walked up the isle. After knowing him for all this time, I know he just took a breathe trying to hold it together. For me personally, I remember trying to look at him and try not to cry myself. I can see the little tear forming in his eye that never made it down his cheek.

Aaron’s wink. It’s our little silent conversation. It was caught in a photo. Now ten years later we still “communicate” with a wink.

Y’all are going to laugh at this one… I am cracking up here because I couldn’t get Aaron’s boot off. He didn’t wear socks so it would be faster to do our foot washing BUT it backfired. His feet warmed in the boots and I couldn’t get them off. This photo makes me giggle up every time I see it. It’s the little things and the big things of your wedding day that we want to capture. While the big moments, like the first kiss, are important. It’s the winks, the moments after the first kiss that matter too. It’s the in-between moments that add to the value of wedding photos.

We hope that as you look back on your wedding photos you will enjoy the day again and again year after year. Now we have two little ones, and one more on the way, our oldest has loved seeing them. She asks about who everyone was, where we were and how pretty my dress was. Sharing the memories with her is something I treasure.

Enjoy remembering your wedding day!

Hugs,

Tiffany & Aaron
