Our lovely sunny day quickly turned to rainy and overcast making us run for cover but that didn’t stop Maddy and I from finding some lovely open shade lighting for her downtown Greensburg senior portrait session. The weather turn hot and muggy but she rocked her session! Thank goodness for the covering of a few pretty trees with lovely ivy in a side alley.
Sometimes I find the oddest places that make for the most unique backdrops.
I’m so totally obsessed with this photo! I have no idea who owns this cute home, especially because it was for sale at the time, but I adore it! So dear home owner, you have the most darling little front lawn area. I’m sorry but I just had to borrow it and I promise we didn’t disturb anything. We only took pretty photos.
After a quick outfit change and the sun joining us, we stopped by the old Greensburg train station for Maddy’s second outfit.
With all of my senior session, I tend to wonder about. Not in a lost sort of way but in a curious and exploration way. Sometimes it leads me to nothing remarkable at all and other times I find some really neat spots. While this spot might have been more simple and smelled like trash, after the corner was a really cool door that made a great backdrop.
We might not have been able to breathe and I might have been standing in a puddle BUT I think it was totally worth it.
Our last stop landed us in front of one of my favorite buildings in town. I only shoot her about once a year but overtime I do it makes my heart skip a beat. The stonework and ivy are so lovely!
Maddy,
Thank you for spending the day with me and ducking between drops for your photos. It might not have been the most ideal but you killed it girl and looked stunning! Enjoy the last of your senior year and I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
Cheers!
Tiffany
