Their Vision for the day all came together with one word, elegance. Heinz Chapel with it’s stunning inside and the outdoor park between the chapel and Cathedral of Learning. All brought together by the Pittsburgh University Club ballroom with its tall windows and beautiful chandeliers. Each location has an air of formality without being ‘stuffy’, exactly how they envisioned it all.

To be getting married in Heinz Chapel meant so much to Erin and Jeff. It is, of course, located on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus which is where their story began. They first met through Pitt, and between classes, study sessions, and football games, it’s where they fell in love and grew into the couple that they are now. So starting their life together as Mr and Mrs at Heinz chapel was a wonderful representation of that major part of their lives and the start of the next.

Meet Erin and Jeff!

Their first look in the park between the Cathedral of Learning and Heinz chapel was to cute for words!

No matter how many first looks we photograph, they never get old or loose their sweet romantic simplicity.

While Erin and Jeff’s day might not have been the fall day with vibrant leaves that they had envisioned, the sun joined us for a moment to light up this tree. When Aaron and I had first met with Erin and Jeff, we had chatted about how the weekend they were getting married on was notorious for rain. How did we know you ask? Well, it’s our wedding anniversary weekend.

Yep, Erin and Jeff were married the day after we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this year. They must have broke the rainy wedding weekend spell because even though the sun wasn’t always out and the sky cloudless, the day was perfect! Erin’s fall palette was a lovely pop of color against the green that still remained.

Jeff didn’t quite cry as he turned around to see erin at their first look but as she came up the isle to meet him, he head a few happy tears. Erin was going to be his wife!!!
