Welcome to our little home! The 20th of this month, marks our 2 year anniversary of owning our little home. After adding this lovely fireplace this month, there has now been so many changes to this house it’s grand!! I need to do a blog post with some before and after photos but in the meantime, here is our Christmas home tour!
When we first moved into our little house, I could only envision a fireplace in between these two windows. I have been dreaming of what this room would like with a fireplace and now I don’t have to dream anymore! Aaron has made my dreams come true spending the last 2 weeks building me this lovely fireplace. We still have one more section of stone to add to the left side but we will get to that next week.
See more of Aaron’s work on HERE or Visit his website for job inquires HERE.
Growing up I alway hung my stocking on the fireplace. It’s silly really, but I have always been sad that I had to hang it on the entertainment center every Christmas. This year, my stockings were hung by the fireplace with care.
Two years ago Aaron and I made the traditional cinnamon ornaments for our tree. This year, with a wedding a few days before Christmas in Michigan, we ran out of time to finish decorating the tree and almost time to even get a tree. Thankfully the few cinnamon ornaments that we had and a few bulbs made it on. Well… we would have had more cinnamon ornament but a certain Golden Retriever has been eating them off one by one.
“Hello there!” Duke
So, my Christmas card idea would have worked much better with only a few cards but I won’t complain. We are loved!!
Someone is waiting for the mail lady to bring the last of the cards!

Thank you for stopping by on our Christmas home tour! We hope you had a lovely Christmas with family and friends!

Just lovely Christmas decorations. Love that Duke anchored a few shots. He does have long legs.
That he does! 🙂
