The First Look Explained

So it’s become more common place these days to have a first look here at a Pennsylvania Wedding but for years it’s almost been taboo. A First Look simply put is where the bride and groom have a private moment together in a little reveal to see each other before the wedding ceremony. Before I go into to much detail though, I would like for you to enjoy Aubree and Brandon’s First Look.

Now Aubree and Brandon chose to exchange and read notes before they saw one another but not everyone does this. A first look is a moment between you and the love of your life. A chance to take it all in. A chance to see his smile and let all the nerves float away.

At a first look, the bride and groom will see each other for the first time before the ceremony in a private intimate setting. Whether they walk into the space together or one of them turns to see the other, it’s a wonderful time for the both of them. Aaron and I are just there to capture the happy tears and joyful smiles.

4 Reasons We Suggest a First Look

The why behind the first look explained and not just because they are wonderful to watch. 

1- We suggest a First Look for couple who is nervous about seeing one another in front of all their guest or for couples who are generally shy and not good in front of crowds. It’s wonderful to have one less thing to worry about as you walk down the isle.

2- A first look is also wonderful if you have an evening wedding and would like to have all your wedding portraits done prior to the ceremony. This is the perfect way to maximize your wedding day and truly enjoy it.

3- It is also helpful for our couples who have several lovely portrait locations that they would like to go to and they don’t want to make their guests have to wait to long after the ceremony.

4- Lastly, the first look is perfect for a bride and groom who LOVES to party and ENJOY family and friends. With the first look earlier in the day along with the portraits, you are able to say “I do” and head right to enjoying the reception with your family and friends.
