A lot of our wedding days take us all over Pittsburgh and even out of state. Sometimes it’s nice to stay close to home. Nathan and Jessica’s Denunzio’s Latrobe Airport and Saint Vincent wedding was a few minutes away and just what was needed during a busy July.
The two got ready at Nathan’s family home and it did not disappoint. Wait till you see the sweeping front porch where they shared a first look. It has all the feels of a southern estate only it is here in western Pennsylvania.
A sweet little detail was added to Nathan’s ring.
Jessica and Nathan weren’t excited here or anything. hehe
No your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Jessica’s lovely dress does have a very light pink undertone. It gives it such a warm and romantic look!
After a darling first look and a few portraits we all met at Saint Vincent Basilica for their ceremony.
Sometimes the sweetest moments aren’t just with the bride and groom but with those in attendance as well. Mom whispered to grandma to turn and look just as Jessica reached Nathan toward the top of the isle.
Once Jessica’s dad passed her off to Nathan, the two continued their journey to the alter and together and up the steps to say “I do.”
With each wedding we have a new set of friends to make, the bridal party. Though we work hard to memorize each bridesmaid and groomsmen’s name, a small bridal party make us happy. Less names and faces to memorize makes this momma’s brain happy.
It might not have been the little flower girls first time in front of our camera. See her first debut at Sarah and Mike’s Westmoreland Country Club wedding in 2016.
Sometimes it pays to simply wander about. I hadn’t ever seen these old stairs on the Saint Vincent campus in all the times I had been there. We wrapped up Jessica and Nathan’s portraits a little bit earlier than expected so we chose to enjoy the grounds and their stairs didn’t disappoint.
After our stroll around the campus we were off to Denunzio’s at the Latrobe Airport to join all of their family and friends who had been enjoying cocktail hour in the ballroom overlooking the airport runway. Though the guests had already filled the tables we snuck a few detail photos.
The longest married couple in the room won a lovely bouquet and enjoyed a special dance together.
Someone stole the show with her little flower girl dance moves.
Nathan & Jessica,
