“A country outdoor boy meets city loving sometimes over the top girl”
Let me just start out by saying how much I adore these two and how excited Aaron and I are that they are now Mr & Mrs. Alex and Jesse’s wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. Their vision was to have a bright and intimate ceremony with rustic touches and a more moodier and fun reception. I think they did a smashing job bringing that look to life on their wedding day.
Our out of state and destination weddings have to be some of my favorite. They come with new traditions, new places to photograph and even more new friends. Jesse and Alex’s wedding day took the cake though. Enjoy a peek at their wedding day.
Jesse’s gift to Alex that morning was sweet and well thought out. A darling charm in memory of her father, a new perfume for her to remember the day by and wear along with a “Mrs” charm bracelet.
Oh and a very sweet note that left not a person in the room with a dry eye.
Hold the phone, who is that sexy fellow on the right?!?! Nope Aaron didn’t jump infront of the camera for just one photo, he was a groomsmen in the wedding. A big shout-out to my dear friend Darcie for joining Aaron and I in New Jersey to second shoot Jesse and Alex’s wedding.
With Bolt as your last name, you have to have a little fun with it. These sweet cufflinks were the perfect addition.
Get your tissues friends…
No matter how many times I photograph a first look, they just keep getting sweeter and sweeter. Those moments can’t be created or faked. They are so intimate and special. The look on Jesse’s face is simply priceless! The look on Alex’s face is priceless as well.
As I stood there watching their first look unfold, I felt as though I might burst with excitement for them. With each dress appointment, Alex prepped for this moment. The moment when Jesse would see her as his bride. She woke up extra early to start getting ready and by the time the first look arrived she was all butterflies but the moment they saw one another, nothing else mattered.
Their stunning wedding venue, the Collingswood Ballroom.
Their ceremony took place under an oak tree on the grounds at sunset, dreamy right?!?!??
Everyone is always worried that a first look ruins the emotion of the bride and groom seeing one anther for the first time as she comes down the isle, but I beg to differ. Jesse was just as choked up and his expression as she walked toward him was even sweeter. These two are simply head over heals in-love with one another.
Meet the new Mr & Mrs Bolt!!!!
Their darling admirers sat and watch them dance form the steps.
While guests had a balcony view of their first dance.
Alex and Jesse’s day was full of so many wonderful and sweet moments. During the reception, several important gentlemen joined Alex on the dance floor before her mom joined in for a very special mother daughter dance.
This New Jersey gang sure know how to have a fun time!
We might have snuck in a photo with these two. 🙂
