With each passing year, I try and create something new and exciting for our seniors. Last year I re-vampted our senior portrait model program. In the past, I had a few seniors from our local schools be models, but their sessions were never together and they would happen far to late in the year. Well, last year, I deceived to bring all of our models together for one big styled shoot and do it earlier in the year. It was a huge success! (You can check out last years model shoot here.)
So the other week, in honor of their graduation, I hosted a little party for our Class of 2016 Senior Models at the studio. It was small and simple but oh so wonderful to just sit and chat with these wonderful ladies. We talked about college majors, their summer adventures, roommates and much more. Things that we chatted about months ago at their sessions but all these plans seamed so far away… Goodness was it a bitter sweet little party. After they all left, it hit me that I might never see some of them again. Sniff sniff. I’m quite the sap if you can’t tell. No matter what though, I like to think that through their senior portrait session experience, I have helped encourage these lovely ladies. Not just by showing them how lovely they are but by being an example as well.
Congratulations to our wonderful Class of 2016 Senior Models: Miranda, Jess, Abbey, Cameron & Bri!! I wish you all the best in life’s grand adventures!! Cheers!!
