More about me
Here you can share a few words about you, but remember that it should be from a client perspective. Sugar plum cupcake ice.
Topping croissant muffin shortbread powder. Powder caramels wafer caramels cupcake tootsie roll marzipan.
We took a few personal days last week. When most people hear the words small business owners and vacation together, the usual sentence following involves comments about how lucky we are that we can just up and take a vacation whenever. Well there are two sides to that story. While just picking up and taking off can happen much easier as a small business owner, it’s also harder to remain caught up with work while you are away because there is no one filling in for you when you are gone. As a small business owner we can tend to not stop working and work 24-7 to serve everyone. Sometimes, we need to take a break so we can give 110% every time to our couples and clients. Last week was one of those re-charge and re-fresh times so we grabbed the tent and took off to go camping at Cook Forest State Park!
We even left the tent cover off for the first night and slept with a wonderful view of the stars.
Sorry for all the iPhone pics but it is easier to carry at times.
We took a little walk up to the Fire Tower in Cook Forest Friday night. The above photo is a view from up there. Let’s just say that if you are afraid of heights, you might not want to go to the top…
Spider man at work. hehe
Saturday was perfect! The sun was shining and it was just hot enough to take a 3 hour float down the Clarion river.
Confession here… I really like camping however, once it is dark, I turn into the biggest scaredy cat ever! Well, unless there is a group of people making lot of noise. So suddenly I hate the fact that we always have to pick the most private camp sites away from the people.
Saturday night and all Sunday it rained…. HELLO Pennsylvania weather! I knew I could always count on you.
Like hiking. Hate hiking in the rain. I’m part cat. I hate being wet with soggy clothing stuck to me but I kinda grinned and went with it.
If you are looking for al lovely place to camp, check out camping at camping at Cook Forest State Park.
– We stayed at Ridge Camp, one of the State Park Campgrounds.
– The Fire Tower provides a nice short walk to the actual tower then a nice stair climb to the top. The view is wonderful too!
– Tube or Canoe the Clarion River. Don’t do the 10 mile canoe trip unless you pack food or plan to be out for a while and wiped out at the end.
– Don’t let them fool you, the Forest Cathedral is not all it was cracked up to be… Unless we missed something I was very disappointed.
– Lastly, take a drive to no where. Just get in the car/truck and drive. The side roads, access roads and back roads give such a lovely view of God’s creation, you can’t go wrong.
