An almost 2 year old and a 5 hour flight need I say more? Mom friends, if you are flying don’t let that free seat till they are 2 tempt you unless they are a baby. Buy the extra seat! We woke her up at about 2:30AM to leave for the airport and she didn’t till about 12 noon. I think I’m still bruised from the airplane ride. This girl was WILD!
A few of you wondered why we were in California. Was is for a wedding, no, I wish we had a wedding in California BUT this time is was to see family. Aaron’s brother Caleb and his wife Bella had another sweet baby girl a few month ago and we just had to go and see her. While we were there, Aaron’s cousin Raelene and her family joined us form Montana. Seriously guys, it was the best time!
Caroline and Ellie attempting to hold still for a few minutes and not eat a snack. These girls are always so busy and always snacking. Talk about two peas in a pod!
Cousins and cousins again.
Carline LOVES babys! Her and Eden got to be little buddies between snacks with Eden’s big sis Ellie.
Caroline also had her first In-N-Out burger and fries.
A great hike and a late night stroll along the Newport Beach pier were in order.
Little Miss Caroline was on quite an adventure on this trip. She took a car ferry over to Balboa to eat Mexican and a Balboa bar.. j/k she had a frozen banana. We wanted her to sleep that night. She did enjoy the late nigh stroll though and the banana.
I did finally break out the real camera for a beach trip.
I missed Caroline dipping her toes in the Pacific and it taking her out. The Pacific is a little bit stronger than the calm golf waters she was in back in November.
Another great trip highlight was the Duffy boat ride about the Newport harbor.
I lost count of how many Chick-fil-a trips there were on this adventure. Ellie and Caroline were all about the play place and despite all their snacking not much was consumed at the restaurant.
Caroline ADORED her little cousin Claire.
This was our random location find. We were headed to one spot and thought it was to commercialized so we wandered. Crystal Cove was a little gem! While the tide-pools were mostly full of sand, we still had lovely beach to enjoy and a few little sea friends were found.
This girl and her curls. <3
Yes, she is eating… again.
Thank fully on our flight home Spirit let us move to the back and Caroline had her own seat. I don’t think we could have endured the flight home had they not. She even took a nap!
Another day another adventure. This time is was a California adventure, let’s see where we adventure next this year….
