On the most perfect day in August, Brad and Kaitlyn said “I do.” Their journey to this day was full of many ups and downs but that’s alright because everything was flawless!

Just a few days before their wedding day sweet Kaitlyn was so sick that she was hospitalized and everyone was worried about how their wedding day would go. Thankfully she made a wonderful recovery! Though she was a little more tired than usual, she was determined to enjoy herself and I think she did just that.

A charming note from Brad and a little box arrived in Kaitlyn’s getting ready room on their wedding morning.

Her mom and sister helped her get ready before we left the hotel for her bridal portraits and bridesmaid portraits.

Brad and Kaitlyn’s ceremony took place at Saint Benedict the Abbot in Canonsburg at 2:30 in the afternoon joined by about 300 of their family and friends.

A daddy’s first kiss with his little girl is born to the kiss when he hands her off to her husband. Both are some of the sweetest moments to capture in life.

Following the ceremony, we arrived at Valleybrook Country Club for a few bridal party photos before Brad and Kaitlyn’s mini photo session together.

A little stroll about the golf club for photos and these two joined their guests in the Valleybrook Country club’s ballroom.

For so many couples, after their wedding day, things calm and life resumes to a normal leisure pace but for Brad and Kaitlyn that wasn’t the case. Shortly after the return from their honeymoon, Brad because very sick and was diagnosed with a super rare disease called aplastic anemia. It’s where your body attacks your own marrow and all the cells in your body. So the start of their married life has mostly taken place in a hospital these two are some of the strongest people I know.

Brad is on the road to recovery after a bone marrow transplant from a wonderful soul in Germany. Now their hospital days are less and less with more days at home to spend with their little fur baby.
