While Bella might not be a Greensburg local this Class of 2018 Lincoln Park Performing Arts School grad popped over to my little town for a few photos. You might recognize her because she is one of our senior models too and made her appearance in the Class of 2018 senior model styled shoot. Meet the lovely and artsy Bella today with her senior portrait session.
Wish each session I start to create a location map in my mind as we go through wardrobe at the studio. Sometimes I am totally sold on a location and other times I wonder and see what jumps out to me. This time I had just the place in mind. The Westmoreland County Courthouse was the perfect backdrop for Bella’s darling embroidered skirt with a vintage flair.
Buildings just aren’t built with the same intricate elements anymore so to find a location that matched her style meant only one thing. We needed someplace older with more charm. It also helped that the building blocked the freezing cold wind.
Since Bella is also a Lincoln Park Performing Arts School grad, a stop at the Palace Theater was also a must for a few photos.
A quick wardrobe change at the studio and we were back out into the cold. Some leftover snow helped pull this portion of Bella’s Greensburg senior photos session together. Not everyone likes to have their senior portraits done in the winter but I happen to love it! Everyone plans on summer or fall photos and everyone forgets winter.
Yes, it might be a bit chilly but all the more reason to stop for a latte or hot cocoa as you go. Seriously though, just look at the pretty snow blanketing the ground. You just can get that in the summer.
Bella’s sweet mom popped in the White Rabbit just down the street from the little courtyard to get a warm treat for her.
With a sidewalk that wasn’t cleared and red window trim, Second Ave became the final stop.
Bella,
Thank you for bearing with me to get your photos on the blog. Good thing you had then just after your session and the blog wasn’t your preview. I hope you are enjoying all of your grand travels!
Hugs!
