I’m always posting weddings and chatting about them but I often forget to share all of my portrait sessions. A few years ago I brought back portrait photography to better serve my wedding couples. I had created such wonderful bonds with them and I didn’t want them to have to go elsewhere for portrait sessions. So I decided I would bring them back and I have no regretted it. From maternity portraits to in-home newborn sessions, mini sessions for the little moments and full sessions for the big milestones; portrait sessions are here to stay.
This sweet little one has now been in-front of my camera for her spring in-home newborn session and her Christmas mini session. You might remember her mommy and daddy, Melissa & Josh from their 2020 COVIDr wedding at Willowbrook Farm.
As a mommy I think the most wonderful thing is not having to leave your home to accomplish things. Newborn portrait sessions are one of those. It’s so nice that our mom’s can relax and rest while baby and I get to work on the magic. It’s not having to pack-up all of the things while you are on the mend that makes an in-home newborn session wonderful.
Baby Ava was all about the little smiles and smirks. I don’t think I have ever had a more smily baby. What a doll!
Look at all of her hair! It’s just darling! My kiddos hardly have hair when they are born so I have to enjoy all the hair my little ones have during their portrait sessions.
Miss Ava,
I can’t wait to see who you become. Stay sweet little one!
