I found my dress early on, but it was strapless. Something I decided that I didn’t want. So I was faced with either finding another dress or working with the dress I had found. I chose to make the one I found work…
This was my first try at creating straps for my dress. I loved it, however, it wouldn’t work. So my dress shop, Mkayshas Bridal Lane worked with me and Casablanca Bridal to create a shrug that matched my dress perfectly. It was designed for another dress however Casablance made it match mine perfectly. It took a ton of time but I am so glad I took the time to make the dress into what I had envisioned.
I had search for the perfect place that would match my wedding style, have a lovely room with lots of fabulous lighting to get ready in, and also be close to the ceremony site, the Trent House Inn fit the bill!
It was perfect! Finally the morning of the wedding came. Everything was in it place.

My hair had been done by my mom and my makeup by the wonderful Jess from Enhance. Then finally the dress I had fussed over so much was going on…
As my mom and sister helped me get ready to meet my prince charming at the front of the church, it was then that the reality of what was happening hit me. I was a bride!! I was getting married!! =D
But while I was getting ready so was my prince. 🙂
He also had a little package arrive for him to open that morning.
Once they were all ready it was off to start their photos…
Then it was my turn to head out in the cold for photos with my bridesmaids.
Lastly, a photo with my mom and dad then we were all off to the church… Stay tuned for more!
