I haven’t had a downtown Pittsburgh senior session for a little while. Alexis’s senior session just off Carson street and on the Hot Metal bridge didn’t disappoint! She totally killed it!
As always, we started out simply strolling along seeing what caught out eye and spoke to us. Alexis wanted an urban look and her fun dress called for a little bit of a soft romantic look too. Combining those two together we found some great little spots along the way.
If Alexis looks familiar to you, that’s because she is one of my Class of 2020 senior models. You can see her model session photos in downtown Greensburg on the model blog post here.
We might have stood on the sidewalk for ten minutes waiting for this next location to become avaliable. There was a guy on a scooter parked infant of the home so we couldn’t simply walk over. In the end he was looking at us and we were looking at him. Both parties were waiting for the other to make a move. We won though and he left on his scooter.
This cute little porch was worth the wait. Thank you to whoever took the time to plant and nurture their front porch flowers. You are appreciated. 🙂
Before Alexis changed into her next outfit we found one more darling spot for a few more photos.
So originally Alexis was thinking about going to one of Pittsburgh’s many yellow bridges BUT I managed to convince her to give the Hot Metal bridge a try. I think she was thrilled with the spot because her photos here are amazing!!
There were only a few people and cyclists to dodge while shooting since it was after working hours thankfully.
Alexis,
Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your senior portraits and for being one of my Class of 2020 senior models!!! I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
Hugs!
Tiffany
