While her first birthday is quite soon, I have been dying to post this little sweetie’s photos since I took them almost a year ago. Just a few days after she was born, I hopping in my car and headed to the other side of Pittsburgh. Now that the blog is back, I can share little miss Capri’s charming newborn portrait session at her home.
Capri arrived a little early but that’s alright. She said she was running out of room to stretch and decided she could wait no longer to see her mommy and daddy. Capri Ann joined the world on June 25th weighing 5lbs 10oz.
She was just so tiny!
I know these are all a little similar but I am forever in love with little ones and how sweet they are when they are asleep. It amazes me how they pose themselves. Now if only they could do that when they are one, two and three years old. I’m sure I’ll be chasing her around for those photo sessions wishing for the day when she just cuddled into her blanket and napped.
If you have ever seen the beautiful New Years Eve wedding in Pittsburgh that was held at that lovely mansion on 5th, then you know little miss Capri’s mommy and daddy. While I might not have told you about Capri’s mommy and uncle’s sibling joke about lemons in the wedding blog post, let me say that it has now caused Capri has adopted the nickname Lemonchello. A lemon themed baby shower and lemon themed newborn photos seamed perfect for Capri.
While the lemons in her newborn portraits were just so cute, she had to add a little bit of polkadots and pink to her photos.

Before I left this new little family to enjoy some more snuggles, I took a few nursery photos to document this adorable spot for the three of them.
Anthony and Kelly you two have become some of our favorite people and it was such an honor to document this exciting time in your lives! I know this almost year with Capri has been full of adventures and I can’t wait to see the charming lovely little girl she becomes.
