Jackson Adventures– This week Aaron and I spent a few days in one of our favorite places, Cook Forest. It was a little to cold for pop-up camping at Ridge Camp so we decided to use the last of our Christmas gift card to Gateway Lodge. 
3 days of nothing but sitting around and reading. We literally are old people at heart. I thought we were old souls but we are not only that but old people too. We only left Gateway lodge to go down the road for dinner one night. Otherwise we didn’t leave the lodge. I thought for sure we would when a lovely snowfall it, nope. We didn’t budge.

Around the house- Next week is little Caroline’s first birthday. Ahhhhh!!! I have no idea where this year has gone to and how my little baby became a toddler. Prep for her 1st birthday party has begun but I have been mostly prepping for my sister’s baby shower. Can you guess the theme?
Thankfully I used some birthday money I saved up and got a Cricut a few months back because I wouldn’t have been cutting these guys out myself. I spent a day working on theses little dino friends and laves but I still have a few days of Cricut cutting left to complete the amount of leaves and dinosaurs I need to bring her party to life.
Baby Caroline- A little girl with a big appetite! Miss Caroline had her first big girl sandwich this past week. She ate about half of it without letting the sandwich leave her mouth. Thankfully by the end we were doing a little better with out sandwich etiquette. She might not be quite ready to join mommy and daddy when they have a fancy high end wedding to photograph but she is working on it. 😉 
Caroline also took several steps in a row in her walking journey. She realizes that she can crawl places faster so walking isn’t as appealing yet but we are getting there.
