They say the third time is a charm and this time they were right. Every year I always have at least one senior that the Pennsylvania weather doesn’t want to cooperate for. Finally we hit the jackpot with the most grand morning Latrobe senior portrait session.
We both got up quite early and met at the studio for make-up and wardrobe before driving to Latrobe to find some very cute locations for her senior portraits. Can I just say that I LOVED that she was barefoot for the whole session? I hate shoes myself so I’m always looking for a way to ditch mine.
The early morning light was so soft and pretty as it hit the trees behind Kaia. It’s not every day I do morning senior sessions but I just might have to make them a thing.
Sometimes you just have to go back to the spot on the side of the road that you saw driving past. Literally, I drove past this location and loved the light and the grass. We all turned around Kaia killed it!!!
The hillside peaking the background versus total open field makes me so happy!
Kaia wanted to be barefoot and nature to play a big role in her senior portrait session. I’m pretty sure we accomplished that. 🙂 Soft morning sun, end of summer rich greens, a pond, an open field with rolling hillside in the background AND a sunflower patch!
Yes yes yes all of my summer dreams came true in this darling little location. We were pushing close to the hardest time to shoot on a sunny day in almost no shade but Kaia was AMAZING!!!
I’ll take sunflower photos any day. 🙂
I can’t tell you how excited I am for all that you will do and all the places you will go! I’m thrilled that I was able to take your senior photos and can’t wait to see where life takes you! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!
